Pix Reports in 2003 I created a PIX Log reporting tool. I have 3 or 4 installed at various client locations and it generally works well. It is combination of Perl and Bash scripts that should run on any Unix machine that supports Syslog [Syslog-ng], Perl, and Bash/Sh. The README included in the tarball details how to install it. Be warned it does require a good understanding of logging and editing various crontabs and perl files to get the configuration right.

Tips and Samples:

  • A Sample report is here. The IP addresses have all been changed.
  • Besides the README there is no documentation. But the code is commented so when in doubt read the source.
